Install Joomla with Fantastico

BuyHTTP offers a tool called Fantastico that lets you install Joomla! in just a few clicks. This tutorial will walk you through the installation.

To start the installation login to cPanel and scroll down to the Fantastico De Luxe button.

Then click on the Joomla 1.5 link from the list of scripts you can install.

Click on the New Installation link to install Joomla 1.5.

Fill out the short form. This configures the admin user as well as where Joomla 1.5 is installed.

At this point the database has been created and the data has been inserted. Click the Finish Installation button to complete the install.

This is the completed installation details. You can email the details to yourself for safe keeping. You will want to remember the admin login details and bookmark the administrator URL.
